In this talk we show that the classical fourth order accurate compact finite difference scheme with high order SSP (strong stability preserving) time discretization for convection diffusion problems satisfies a weak monotonicity property, which implies that a simple limiter can enforce the bound preserving property without losing conservation and high order accuracy. Higher order accurate compact finite difference schemes satisfying the weak monotonicity will also be discussed. Numerical experiments on model problems are presented.报告人简介:
谢树森,教授,中国海洋大学数学科学学院院长,兼任山东省数学会副理事长。主要从事偏微分方程高精度数值方法及数值模拟方法的应用研究。在海水污染问题、渗流驱动问题的高精度数值方法、非线性波方程的高精度数值方法等方面有系统深入的研究,部分研究工作发表在 “SIAM J Sci Comp”,“Comput Methods Appl Mech Engrg”,“SIAM J Num Anal”,“Comp Phy Comm”,“Appl Numer Math”,“J Comp Appl Math”等重要学术期刊。多次到美国、加拿大、韩国、英国、香港等国家与地区进行学术访问和交流。
