In this talk we will discuss a variant of gradient flow models for multi-phase problem, including both time and space fractional phase-field models derived from an energy variational formulation. Through a number of examples, the model deduction and their numerical approximation will be discussed. The spatial discretization for the proposed models is based on the spectral element method whereas the temporal discretization makes use of a new class of schemes based on auxiliary variable approaches.
报告人简介:
许传炬,厦门大学特聘教授,1986年厦门大学本科毕业,1989年巴黎南大学硕士毕业,1993年巴黎第六大学博士毕业。研究领域包括: 计算流体力学,谱元法,梯度流模型的高效算法,奇性问题的高精度算法,分数阶偏微分/积分方程的高阶数值方法等。与国内外多所大学开展了合作,包括法国的Nice大学、Bordeaux大学、ENSAM、Université de technologie de Compiègne、Poitiers大学等。担任多个国际学术期刊的编委,这些期刊包括SIAM Journal of Scientific Computing,Discrete and Continuous Dynamical Systems - Series S, East Asia Journal on Applied Mathematics, AIMS Mathematics,Communications on Applied Mathematics and Computation。
